Playing an alembic file at runtime

Hi,

I’ve never used Unreal before and have started using it for a new job.

I’m wondering if you clever people can help with something.

I’ve exported an object from 3DS MAX. It’s a cube that extends along a path (using a path deform modifier).

The animation starts at frame 2000 & ends at 2600

I’ve exported it as an alembic file and when I bring it into unreal it plays… but not when I run the level.

Is there any help I can have with this?

It’d make more sense to do this directly in unreal so if anyone also has advice for that too, that’d be great.
