Playing a skeletal mesh animation from a level triggerbox?

I feel like I’m going at this the wrong way, but basically I want the playable character to play a little animation when they reach the end of the level and hit a trigger box. The attached file shows the level blueprint and what I’m attempting to do. Ballman is the playable character blueprint. I’m also not getting any compile errors. I’ve also looked over some tutorials to try and figure this out - as I’ve looked into this casting set up, but nothing seems to quite work. Am I looking at this wrong? Is it more to do with the animation blueprint?
