Players Not Spawning or Losing Camera Control in My UEFN Creative Map

Hello Epic team,

I’m experiencing two major issues in my Fortnite Creative UEFN map:

  1. Players not spawning:
When players join the map, there’s a chance that they don’t spawn at all. Instead, they appear to be stuck in a spectator-like state. They can see the game happening around them, but they have no control, no HUD, no team assignment, and are unable to interact in any way. It’s as if they’re just objects in the environment.
  2. Camera control bug:
In some cases where the player does spawn correctly, they are unable to rotate the camera. They can move the character forward, backward, and sideways, but they can’t look around — the right stick (or mouse movement) has no effect. This makes it impossible to play properly.

These bugs are seriously affecting the playability of my map. I’ve tried checking spawn settings, player devices, and input options, but the problem still occurs randomly.

Please let me know if there’s a known workaround or if I should change any specific device settings to fix this.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello @paquat , I hope everything is ok and you have been able to solve the problem, if not I leave a recommendation for the first problem that the players are not appearing, the second seems more a temporary problem or a problem due to a spawning bug.

in the outliner you will find a configuration called island settings , which you can modify the maximum amount of players allowed in the game.
Also you must have a Player Spawner for each player , otherwise they will fall from the sky and will have to descend with a glider, if in your island there are 20 players maximum , it means that you must have 20 Player Spanwer.
