Player start "bad size" error

Hey all… I’m having an issue trying to get my player start to work right. I’ve created a scene using 3ds max assets that I imported as fbx’s. I’ve applied lighting and textures. Everything was scaled up 30.48 due to it being created in feet units in 3ds max. That’s about it, I’m attempting to create a real-time archviz high resolution scene but when I hit play, the player jumps forward for a millisecond and then get’s “stuck” in place and I can turn left and right with the mouse but can’t move forward or backwards. It doesn’t seem to matter if I’m inside the house or outside, it does the same thing. And when I’m in the editor mode, the player has “bad size” error branded on it.

I’m super new so please answer like I’m a 5th grader, I don’t really know what I’m doing yet.

Thanks everyone!

I had this yesterday. This means your character is inside the world. Go into the map and select your player then move him up so that he isn’t near any objects or the ground. The BADSize message should then go away and you should be able to move.

Click Player Start on the right side in the World outliner. Then use the green, blue, red arrows to move it around until the capsule outline is in the air without touching anything.

what does it mean inside the world… shoud not be insire other wise how the player can walk…
i have bad size problem every where i place the player .
can you give more infromation

thanks
