Hi there. I have a character with a camera attached to it’s head (first person perspective) and I want to use a root motion animation in a level sequence to make a first person cutscene.
When I add the player and the animation track to the level sequence, the animation is played in place as if there was no root motion.
When I add a Transform track, I see an option to import movement from a root motion. However, it adds this movement towards global Y axis, and I cannot just move or rotate the player into a proper place in the cutscene (i.e. I want the root motion to move the player to his front regardless of his rotation, but the movement imported is always towards global Y)
How I should go about this to do this properly? Theoretically speaking i could tweak aaaaallll of the imported keys, but there’s a lot of them (long animation) + plus it’s just undoable with more than one cutscene. There has to be a better way
