Player Kill z respawing First person character in different level

I’m making a 3D platformer, and using a Kill Z Volume to respawn the player if they fall below a certain point. Except no matter what level the player is in the Kill Z volume respawns them in level 1 instead of the level they are in. Does anyone know a solution to respawn in the level the player is currently in? Or if there is something else I should use instead of a Kill Z Volume?
