Player is flying at spawn


I just started working with UE4 yesterday and try to build a Jazz Bar.

When playtesting the room I built, the Player is always able to fly around in a noclip-esque style but with active collision. But why is the player always able to fly? I want him to be stuck on the ground and able to run and jump around but not fly.

Are you using a 'Character Blueprint"?

You can follow this setup but if you’re doing a FPS character you can skip all mesh and animation steps.

Have a look into the first person demo blueprint of unreal.
