First of all, I am very new to UE, I am using the latest version: 5.4.3. I have a motion matching project in which the characters refuses to move accordingly.
I am using a third person template but imported the GASP blueprint and animation assets. Everything seems to work fine except for the character movement. As seen in the video link below, the character does not rotate to face the designated pressed keys ASD, W moves him forwards without any issues, but the AD only makes him walk side to side in a strafing-like manner, while the S key drives the character backwards.
What I want is to make my character face the direction inputted and walk towards that direction head on, and when I press back, I want him to turn around and walk forwards, not walk backwards.
