Ich habe eine Map erstellt, mit 4 Teams und pro Team 4 Spielern, insgesamt also 16 Spieler.
Darüber hinaus habe ich 4 Klassenauswahlen (TeamSelector) hinzugefügt und für jeden TeamSelector einen Player-Counter.
Das Problem ist folgendes: Bei Team 1 zeigt der Player-Counter 1/4 an, während bei Team 2, Team 3 und Team 4 der Player-Counter 0/4 anzeigt. Bei Team 1 sollte der Counter eigentlich auch 0/4 anzeigen, aber das passiert nicht.
What kind of team filter? I didn’t see anything about a team filter under settings. Did you see the screenshot?
The team selector was set to Team 1, Team 2, Team 3, and Team 4. I created player counters for each individual team, but for one team, it constantly says 1/4, while for the others it says 0/4. Can’t you see the screenshot?
Oh yeah, of course they’re already setup for their team, too many distractions here…
with teams you’ll automatically be assigned team 1 when you spawn in.
With player team selection, some creators will use a 5th team for the lobby in addition to the 4 teams to choose from.
Either let team 1 be the lobby team or change players when they spawn in to team 5.
I tried that, but the player counter for Team 1 still shows me 1/4, even though the player counter has the same settings as the other player counters for Team 2, Team 3, and Team 4.
I’m a bit unclear on all this too, so I’ve chosen to use team 1 as the lobby team, but suffer from no team 1 in the scoreboard.
What I can say so far is…
I suspect Play mode may interfere with initial spawning since there is no pregame phase in testing.
Teams must be set to Dynamic in Island settings, otherwise the engine takes over team assignment and does what it wants.
I remember in a post way back, someone set thier island start spawnpads to the team they wanted and that worked, I think they tried a class selector zone covering all start spawns first, but that was before it had an overhaul that came to include send team changes at warmup.
Was also having trouble at some stage because the team would not change without a respawn, but I see lately from others projects, that teams are changing without a respawn by going through a teleport, but I can’t be sure and haven’t tested it.
How did you try the team assignment ? Was it a class selector change player to team from the player spawned event ?
