Player Camera Bug? UE5.2

Hello i am working on a FPS camera with a player mesh everything worked fine till i changed the mesh the a character

now the camera is looking in a 90deg rotation offset for some reason

ane again all i did was changing the fps arms to this player with a basic anim BP

But when i do the normaly setup it works fine as seen on the screenshots under the video link


Re import the model and in the options check the box for force x forward.

Yea did that at the start im not that stupid
Its rotated because i was trying to find the cause

Thanks ill try that i didnt thing it was a mesh rotarion issue but didnt want to learn blender to fix it so this may be the fix for that

You have to click it for the animations also. The importer options are kinda crazy. If you check mark mesh/skeletal mesh import, you have to then deselect mesh/skeletal mesh and force x as if you were going to import animations by themselves. Then you have to re- check box mesh/ skeletal mesh/animations and then import. You see what I’m saying.

yea i notist same as not being able to combines meshes when also adding a skeleton mesh but i fixed it that you for the actual help
