Plastic deformation through materials tutorial?

Does anybody know how to get plastic like deformation on a mesh via collision from a solid rigid body?

You could use something like drawing to render targets and using that with world displacement in the material for visual mesh deformation. There wouldn’t be any collision changes though, unless you set that up separately.

There was an official stream on that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z-V1Buk6z8

People have also used distance fields to deform balls to make them seem bouncy and made of rubber.
