Planar Reflection Too Bright

I am trying to use planar reflections to put mirrors in a scene. However, the reflections are way too bright. See below:

The weird thing is if I change any of its settings and undo, the reflection works just fine. Say I move it around a little bit and do a CTRL+Z right after, that fixes the reflection. And, funnily enough, this won’t work if I move it back into its place manually. (Turning show flags on/off also solves the issue.)

So I have a “fix” for editor reflections. But, how can I fix the reflection in a packaged project? I cannot think of a way to apply the CTRL+Z fix via blueprints. Likewise, I don’t think the show flags are accessible through BPs. So yeah, I’m all out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
