Hi Unreal Engine Devs,
After nearly 10 years of “PivotPainter2 = Max only,” I’ve finally developed a working PivotPainter2 exporter for Maya!
This tool generates UVs and compatible PivotPosition/XVector textures directly from Maya’s transform hierarchy — tested and working with UE5’s official PivotPainter2 materials.
- No more need for 3ds Max or Houdini!
- Fully procedural workflow, supports deep hierarchies
- EXR/PNG export, high-precision
- OSS release in preparation
