Pivot shines too bright to work with in editor

For some reason the piviot is affected by the lights in my scene. So the pivot in the editor is shining like it is a emissive put on it. I am using 4.8.3 and character is first person.

Hope anyone have any solutions, like maybe it would help changing the camera auto brightness on the editor camera if it is possible?

Here is an example of the problem:

Disable Eye Adaptation from Rendering - Project Settings.

I don’t remember if that’s the place you need to search for it though, might be wrong. Still, your problem is that eye adaptation thingy. Annoyed me aswell back then.

Thanks it worked, found out it is called auto exposure now. Also possibly needs to be changed under PostProcessVolume if someone has that in the scene.

Interesting. Eye adaptation has been nothing but trouble since I started in UE4 :stuck_out_tongue:

This is also affected by the bloom value. You can switch that off by setting its intensity down to 0.
