Pivot Painter in Maya

Hi,

I like the reactive grass used in the pivot painter map in the content browser and when i was looking into it on the UE4 Documentation, it says that it is a 3DS Max Script. Is there one for Maya? if not, is there any plans on making this for Maya? Is there any workaround i could use? I am a bit reluctant to learn another software package when i already use Maya for modelling, texturing and animating.

There is none afaik. However you could create whole system on your own, if you are comfortable with basic scripting for Maya.

I see. I’m not very good at scripting in Maya. Looks like i’m going to have to learn 3DS Max. it’s very interesting how Pivot painter works and I’m particularly interested in the way the grasses reacts when the player walks on it.
