pistolkingcpny - VoiceHub - Multiplayer Voice Chat & Room System

Keep the conversation inside your game.

VoiceHub is a C++ voice chat and room-management plugin for Unreal Engine. Give players a place to create public or password-protected voice rooms, see who is speaking, and adjust individual voices without leaving the game. Native voice uses your existing game server, with no Steam account or EOS backend required for the default setup.

ROOMS AND PLAYER CONTROLS

Create a room, join the conversation, and leave when you are done. Players connected to the same game server can browse available voice rooms and enter a password when required.

Microphone controls stay within reach through a MIC ON/OFF button in the room details. Click a participant to reveal their local Mute and 0–200% volume controls. Only the selected participant’s settings expand, keeping the interface focused.

Closing the main window does not leave the room. Voice communication and the speaking overlay remain active while players return to gameplay.

BUILT FOR PROJECT INTEGRATION

Use the included native interface or connect the room and audio controls to your own UI through Blueprint-accessible functions and events. C++ source provides access to the room logic, voice integration, and screen layout.

An editor Quick Start, English and Korean documentation, a starter Widget Blueprint generator, and a demo-level generation script are included to guide installation, customization, and testing.

NATIVE FIRST. OPTIONAL STEAM AND EOS INTEGRATION.

VoiceHub is one plugin, not separate Native and Steam editions. Native is the default voice path. Steam codec integration source examples and EOS integration hooks are included for projects that need an external service.

Steam and EOS require additional project-side setup. Service initialization, authentication, and any required channel credentials or token services remain the responsibility of your project. These integrations are not preconfigured hosted services.

IMPORTANT BEFORE PURCHASE

Players must already be connected to the same multiplayer game server. VoiceHub does not provide game-session discovery, global matchmaking, NAT traversal, or authentication/token servers. Native playback is room-based, non-spatial voice—not distance-based proximity chat.

The stock interface is built in C++ Slate. Generated Widget Blueprints inherit that interface; they do not contain a fully editable UMG Designer widget tree. Modify the included C++ layout to change the stock screen, or build a separate UMG interface using the exposed functions and events.
REQUIRED DEPENDENCY

VoiceHub requires and enables Unreal Engine's VoiceChat plugin (displayed as Voice Chat Interface). The included EOS integration adapter compiles against this interface, so VoiceChat must remain enabled even when using Native mode.

Native capture and encoding use Unreal's Voice module. Native mode does not require Steam or EOS accounts, the EOSVoiceChat provider, or hosted voice-service credentials.
