I’ve been working towards creating a multiplayer pirate game revolving around sword fights and boats. Here’s what I’ve got thus far. The main concept of the game will be team vs team combat on and off ships revolving around a melee combat system somewhere between darksouls and Jedi knight. Currently the system is root motion based requiring players to commit to attacks, i may or may not change this depending on ideas and reception to how it handles in PvP.
