Pilot camera animation tracks

I am having an issue with editing camera key frames by piloting the camera. When I want to edit the camera path, using auto key-framing, while piloting the camera, after the piloted movement edit, the camera will do a 360 spin, in the opposite direction to get to the final location and rotation, instead of just adjusting to the piloted cameras location and rotation in the correct direction.

Anyone else experience this?



It seems to do this when I sometimes have transformations that include location and rotation in the same camera motion. If I do the location movement first, key frame, then do the rotation movement, key frame it, I do not have the 360 spin thing going on.
