Pillars of Protection - I Released A Tower Defense Game on Steam

A long time ago (maybe 2017 or so), I picked up the Unreal Engine and started to learn how to make a game with UE4. Pillars of Protection was the first game that I started to make and it was a long process just trying to understand the ins-and-outs of this massive engine. The intricacies of understanding multiplayer with all it’s complexities of concepts such as RPCs, reliability, server-client, authority, dedicated-servers, replicated-variables, and relevancy really confused me and I confronted many perplexing bugs. However, I kept going, and I’m so happy that I pushed through it, because at the very least I now have the skills to make more multiplayer games.

I put this project on hold and I kept coming back to it. Finally, I decided to release it on Steam. If you are interested in getting a quick idea of what it is about, here is a trailer I made a while back.

Here is the Steam page where I recently released it.

Anyways, thanks for reading.
