I recently moved my test project over from 4.4.1 to 4.5 and found a couple of things.
- Can no longer use “InitNewPlayer()” in custom GameMode. VS error is " method with override specifier ‘override’ did not override any base class methods "
- When starting the PIE with any level of this project, the seems like the PIE doesn’t start. The “PIE Level” doesn’t load. There is no error in any of the logs. When stopping the PIE it takes a long time to stop (± 1min) and memory usage of the Editor goes from ± 600MB to 2,2GB. However the level loads correct in the standalone game.
The Output Log has the following after starting and then stopping the PIE.
“LogPlayLevel: PIE: World Init took: (0.000520s)
