Physics skeletal mesh problem

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone could help shed light on this: I’ve got a bunch of ropes (really simply rigged, just 11 joints in a chain) and I want them to hang flat. However, despite simulating properly in the physics asset editor, they seem to be resting on an invisible floor when I run the game.
Can anyone suggest what might be causing this? All the other assets in the scene are using complex collision as simple, and I don’t have any blocking volumes as far as I know.

Type “show collision” in console and see if there is something blocking it.
