Physics on the character mesh

Hey, everybody!

I’m working on this little fella atm, got a nice mesh and made a good looking ghost-like material in unreal for him.

I’m about to start on the rig for him, and started to wonder how I should make the pointy part of his head a bit floaty? Like a very calm flame. So when he stands still, it calmly floats a bit, and when he runs forward it moves down a bit behind his head, like a normal flame would. You get the idea.

I’ve been looking at PhysX clothing from Nvidia, following this tutorial:

I’m thinking if I tweak it, I can make it float. Problem is, he is one mesh (aside from eyes and lids). Wouldn’t I have to separate the top of the head from the rest? Or is there some easier way to
make it all look more smooth?

Thanks for the help!
