Physics handle cant hold skeletal rope

Hello, i have trouble with grabbing and handling a sekletal mesh rope

I maded rope in blender, rigged it with bones and exported to unreal 5

Then I added Physics constraints to it and changed in constraint only angular limits

My trouble is i cant grab and hold rope that way i want

I configured standart physics handle in player character with line trace, grab actor, etc.


when i grab test cube it works fine


But if i try to grab rope by some bone happens this

There i grabbed it, but it not in my hand

I moved away, rope tries to follow hand, but cant and just fall

Help me figure out how to setup rope properly, thank in advance

Solved it

Helped me:

  1. Turning off all “soft settigs” in physics hadle

  2. Switching from “get hit component world location” to “imact point location”
