Physics based skateboard simulation?

Hi there!

I am not a developer, so please keep that in mind :slight_smile:

My question would be that what are the options in UE to develop a skateboarding simulation game?

  • Is it possible with the unreal physics engine? Or would you need to dig in deep and write custom physics for it?
  • Vehicle physics maybe?
  • Other options?

The realistic movement and response of the skateboard is a big question, but also the way it would be interacted with.
Note: I’m not interested in any skateboarder movement, only the skateboard itself. Also don’t want to use any mo-cap or any other premade animation, strictly physics based.
