Physics Based Hit Animation?

This is my first post on these forums and I would like to start by saying what an awesome community this is :smiley:

I have learnt so much from reading the contributions of other users already but this is the first time I am really stuck on something.

I have a first person melee system set up and would like physics based hit animations as described on this page of the documentation: https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Engine/Animation/PhysicallyDrivenAnimation/index.html

If anyone could help me with blending physics animation I would be very grateful. All I can achieve is a character mesh that flails around and doesnโ€™t return to its original positition :frowning:

I just checked out the content example and it has almost exactly what I am trying to achieve. Will have a go at implementing it in my project later.
