Physical Surface types - 64 limit? How to expand?

I’m creating physical surfaces for my project. As I see, limit is 64 and this is not enough for immersive game. Why is this limit and how to expand this number? In old Source engine is more physical surfaces types created and as I think, much more possible.This is really need.

Build from source after changing half the engine.

You can get up to 256. Should already have been increased in more modern versions, but i cant remeber if it was this or collision channels or whatever else / even less what version it was in.

And its not like Epic has been releasing release notes where you could find out either…
