I encountered some problems when trying to restore the physical effects of aircraft similar to “ACE COMBAT” in the editor.According to previous answers, using the impulse addition method can advance the aircraft forward in a physically consistent way, but there are many problems with its specific parameter settings. I defined a throttle variable with a default value of 50%, but I could not find the relationship between it and the linear damping value. When the game is running, the model gradually accelerates to an unpredictable speed.My expectation is that the aircraft can start at a fixed speed, while responding to pitch gravity.I use the timeline to control the throttle input, which should continue to accelerate at a constant speed to a specified value when it is at 100%.These parameters should be controllable.
Tutorial resources in this area are very scarce. If you could provide more information or implementation ideas on air combat AI, I would greatly appreciate it
