Photography Plugin Question

Hey,

New to UE4, I ve been looking into plugin and came across one that would be perfect for the game I am making.
However, I see that people are claiming that it has been abandoned. Does this mean it would be not usable in the latest version of UE4? Or does it simply mean that it won t be getting any updates. If it is the former, is there anything I can do to make it usable?

If anyone knows of an alternative, I am trying to get my character to go from 1st person view to third person view when using his camera. I would also like to be able to save the pictures in a gallery in the same way this plugin allows you too.

it lists the versions its compatible with on the market page. that particular plugin will only work with up to 4.15. if its abandoned that means it wont be getting updates and there will be no support for it though i cant say for sure if it is abandoned or not.

Its not that it wont work, its more of a it may work but no guarantee. Also the engine probably wont let tou install them to newer versions without some workarounds. So i guess yea pretty much not usable. You could use an older engine version if you dont need the latest features or contact the maket or the asset to see if they plan to update it.

So to be clear, it would not be usable at all on newer versions of UE4?
