Photo Coverage and image sharpness heat maps

Hi Devs,

I was wondering if it would be at all possible in the future to bake down a image coverage heat map onto the mesh as either vertex color or texture, so that when texturing we know how detailed the texture will be in the areas we care about, and where all the data is actually going (and possibly image sharpness too?)

This would be incredibly helpful for things like turntable rigs and Studio setups to help optimize the camera locations and to work out how to best shoot the next sequence of images.
