Photo-consistency vs Visibility Based Texture

Hi,

I am having an issue with texturing…
Single geometry/texture layer.
Aligns with no errors (162 cameras).
Photo Consistency works well.
Visibility Based does not.
As I need to output to 16 bit, I can only use Visibility Based.
Is there a work around?

Hi Mark,

what are your settings in those cases?

Can you try these:

Using 16 k if it is important to you.

Same result with your suggested settings.
Settings are shown on left panel.
I am using a variety of focal lengths (in a truck), but have no issue on the face or hands - its seems to only occur on larger areas of single tone garments or this high contrast garment with text.
Photo Consistency nails it!

Is it possible to share your data for testing?

How did you simplified your model? Was it in one step from bigger model to a smaller one?

Can I PM you with a link to files?

Yes, you can send it to trhond@capturingreality.com
