Phone only using half screen

I’m making a small first-person project for Android. When I launch it on my LG G2 phone it only uses half of the screen, which isn’t really optimal. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?
(It’s black on the right side if it matters)

I think you just need to restart the app

have restarted it several times, so no that didn’t help. Anything else?
