Persona Device from UEFN Coming to Unreal?

During Unreal Fest they showed off something called a Persona Device. Where you could create AI Chatbots/Characters. I have a few questions about it.

  1. Is it running the LLM Locally?

  2. Will it work with Metahuman Audio2Face?

  3. Is it coming to Unreal?

It would be great if Unreal creates there own small LLM that can be used on any device and platform locally that we can tap into for Procedural Characters. Or an API that taps into Devices Local LLMs since it seems that everyone is adding one locally to their OSs.

I’d love to see more tutorials with the NNE Plugin on how we can bring in either small LLMs for local use or training models, that work on all platforms.

I get that is a big ask, but from what I’m seeing Epic is trying to make Machine Learning easier to integrate into their Platforms.

Would be great if they make a Plugin that can bring in Models from Huggingface, and make them Unreal Ready

While noone can know for sure given it’s not out for UEFN, I assume for the 1st question the answer would be no, the “Vader AI” which it was supposed to be based from was using Gemini to generate answers according to leakrs ( I Can’t 100% confirm but they’re ussualy trusted by the community)
