Performance: SSHD (hybrid SSD and HDD) and UE4 DDC. How's cache working between them ?

Recently, my hard drive started to screw up (it’s quite old) and I thought about buying a new one, I looked and decided to take a hybrid hard drive, but I had a question - in SSHD there is a flash card, like in SSD, it is small - only 8 gb , The hard disk itself is 1 tb, SSHD collects the cache from the most frequently used files and holds all this cache in its 8 gigabyte space. UE4 itself creates its own cache - DDC, which in turn is stored in the appropriate folder on the hard disk, the question is - will DDC be cached via SSHD and take up space in 8gb flash space? Or will DDC pass by and immediately get into the desired / specified folder on the hard drive?

We don’t do anything special for hybrid drives, so how it actually caches the data is up-to the drive and its driver.

I will say that I once had a hybrid drive and it was a massive disappointment. It wasn’t noticeably any faster than a good spindle drive, and the flash memory part of it burnt out after a few months rendering the drive useless. I replaced it with an SSD for my OS drive.
