This is the error he’s getting:
It’s not detecting changes made to levels from other users for him, nor is he able to submit changes because this error keeps popping up. Anyone have an idea what the issue might be? Been trying to troubleshoot this for a while and Perforce support is pretty bad/unhelpful.
The issue is probably some setting in your Workplace, check in advances in P4V if are setting like this, besides if you are using a Remote server remember to check the security rules:
Also check if you correct set up the P4 Typemap
Made the changes and changed the typemap to the one in that link just to be safe, but still have the same error.
Check if your workplace mapping is correct, they should be something like this
In case Main is the name of you workplace, remember that the workplace cannot have any space in the Name
Yeah, I came to the conclusion that it was a mapping issue but due to him having some things checked out a bunch of stuff went haywire and had to wipe the user and reset. Haven’t gotten the same user set up again yet but set someone else up without issue so definitely think it was a mapping problem.
