Pear 3D scan using RealityScan

Pear 3D scan using RealityScan. 8k textures. 8k render.

:rocket: Pushing the limits of my Dell Precision 3680 workstation powered by a NVIDIA RTX™ 6000 Ada Generation GPU with 48GB VRAM.

:laptop: Render time: 15h 21min 14sec (480 frames at 24 fps)
Around 2 minutes per frame. Considering this is a very high quality render in 8k res, that’s pretty awesome!

:man_technologist:t2: Workflow:

  1. Shooting 618 RAW pics with Sony a6400 (24MP 6000x4000 pixels);

  2. Color correction + AI denoiser in Lightroom;

  3. Creating a mask (isolating the pear from the background) with Mask Prompter 3 (powered by AI using locally my GPU) inside After Effects and exporting PNG sequence with alpha channel;

  4. Reconstructed in RealityScan and exported a high quality mesh with 8k textures;

  5. Setting up a scene (lights, animation, etc) in Maxon Cinema 4D + Redshift GPU-accelerated 3D renderer;

  6. Rendered in 8k resolution;

  7. Color correction using Red Giant Magic Bullet Looks and final export in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Hope you like it :slight_smile:
Thanks!
