PCG slow performance

Hello everyone.
Iv been experimenting with creating environments using PCG, however i have noticed a big performance difference between using PCG for grass distribution in a certain area and using the paint tool to manually fill that area with grass. Even when i am using a much higher grass density with the paint tool, it still results in better performance.
So basically with PCG, even with a low density my fps drops to like 15.
Is that even make sense ?

For anyone having the same problem, I found out what was the issue.

In the Static Mesh Spawner node in the PCG graph, make sure the ‘Affect Distance Field Lighting’ checkbox is off.
