PCG Pathspline not cutting through terrain

Basically I’m trying to make a forest with PCG and a path cutting through it. I’m following this tutorial in case you want to see in more detail what it’s about:

The problem is that when debugging, the path isn’t removing the proposed terrain or whatever you want to add, as shown here(The pathmask is of the point type):
