PCG Facility Designer

Took me longer then I was hoping, but I have finally gotten this facility designer PCG tool to a good place.

The last PCG tool I released was more for organic level design, likes caves and tunnels, but this is all about rigid man-made structures.

This one works for just about any game or camera type, like the FPS and top-down examples here:

Just updated the Level Builder tools with a number of new features and some improvements:

  • New “Location” actors, for handcrafted POI’s or other reusable gameplay spots
  • Wall Decor mesh spawning options
  • Various log spam clean-up and minor bug fixes
  • Path end options for closing them off with walls and their shape
  • Doors can be placed on any exterior wall (to connect with other areas, blueprints, etc)

Similar features will be added to the Facility Designer soon, as well.
