PCG Debug and Inspect mode removes transform gizmos from scene

PCG Inspect mode and debug mode removes gizmo visibility from viewport.
G only toggles the asset outline, it does not display the transform gizmos again. W, E, R keys have no effect.

Temporary workaround
Maximizing viewport into the four window view and then enabling gizmos seems to return the viewport into its original state.
