Been playing a lot with PCGs lately and was wondering a bit about the Component Classes option available. I have a basic understand of HierarchicalInstancedStaticMesh and InstancedStaticMeshComponent and when to use them.
However there is still FoliageInstancedStaticMesh and GrassInstancedStaticMesh, which I absolutely have no idea about. Due to their names I could sorta guess what they would be used for, but I still wouldn’t know if I should. I’ve tried to do some research on it, but I just cant seems to find much if any one it.
I did ask ChatGPT 3.5 and it gave me some information on it from the UE4 era. Here are some screenshots of it.

If possible could someone spoon feed me an example of when using any of these could come in handy.
