PCG best practices for landscape/spline

hi,

im learning pcg and really enjoying it. i have a question about how to get things to correctly conform to landscapes.

i have a spline, representing a path, along that path im spawning a PCG assembly asset that i’ve built.

it works fine but only so long as the landscape is flat.

if i sculpt the landscape it breaks.

i understand this is because it’s not using spline meshes. the behaviour makes sense to me but i don’t understand how to work around it.

could someone recommend some good reading or youtube content about this sort of thing?

i also don’t understand how to procedurally place things like scree.
