Hey ! i’ve been trying to spawn hundreds of light actors from the PCG graph via blueprint. unfortunately when I hit generate unreal hangs and crashes.

If they are actually lights, like point lights, then mostly likely no ![]()
Most of the heavy calculations the engine has to do are related to lights. If you have hundreds of them, it’s sayonara…
Maybe try it with emissive meshes?
i tried with emissive meshes but they’re not actually missing lights. there’s some stuff that’s been calculated by lumen there but it’s all splotchy and unusable IMO. unless I’ve got some settings wrong
Yeah, sorry, I just think that many lights is just going to cause a problem… ![]()
