Hey everyone!

I’m building a PC and I know there’s not much I can do with these, but can you tell me how far will I be able to go with these ‘things’-

  1. 8GB DDR4 RAM
  2. Gigabyte GT730 OC Edition (GDDR5, 1GB)
  3. AMD FX 6-Core Black Edition FX-6300 3.5GHz Processor

For a budget build the cpu and memory is ok. The graphics card is the weak spot.

One more thing, afaik there are no motherboards supporting both the FX-6300 and DDR4 memory.

I don’t know how far you’ll make it with that GPU. How much does it cost?

I would say you would want to go for the GTX 970 if you can, that would keep you going for quite a while!

If you’re able to spend a little more on the graphics card then it can make a big difference in that price range. It’s hard to recommend anything specific without knowing your budget for it, but if you can’t stretch to one of the bigger cards then even something like a GTX 750Ti or R7 360 will perform much better than a GT730 without costing a huge amount more.
