PC-building question

Hello,

I am planning on buying a pc for gaming and the UE. I want a good pc, but no spend too much money on it. Currently I am looking at this pc:

Intel Core i5-4460
Gigabyte GA-H81M-S2H
8 gb DDR3 RAM
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 4GB

My questions are if there are any ‘bottlenecks’ in it or if i can save more money on some parts.
The site says: ‘Some Intel H81 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs.’ Can this be a problem for me and how do i solve it.
It is said the GTX 960 uses 2 slots, but my mainboard only has one PCIe x16 slot, is this a problem or just something different?
Last question, how much will i be able to upgrade my pc (with the same mainboard and except another 8 gb ram).

Thanks in advance!

You might want to bump the RAM up to 16 GB at least, for your UE activities. If it’s just for playing games, 8 is enough though.

The thing about two slots for the GPU, it just means its physical dimensions are a bit bulky and that the card, once installed, will cover up two slots worth of space, but it only needs to be connected to one actual PCI slot.

Updating the BIOS is usually fairly straight-forward, although a bit nerve-wracking. Exact procedure should be outlined in the motherboard manual.

Okay, thanks for answering! I will check that BIOS update.

In the build I am using a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive. Will this ‘bottleneck’ the processor of videochip, or wont this make much difference?

I have selected DDR3 RAM sticks, does this make a lot of difference with DDR4 and will it be future proof?
