Pawn Sensing Questions

Hello, my issue is with playing 2d sounds from “See on Pawn”. I have enemies that play sound when they see you on their "See on Pawn, but I just can’t seem to replicate it in a simple fashion. I want to apply it to something simple like a shape. If I set up a box collision trigger it works fine, but even after getting the See on Pawn cone perfect and not clipping in the mesh it still does nothing. Please help I feel dumb.
