When can apple users expect to receive path tracer capabilities for rendering in twinmotion?
I hope so! So many Architecture Offices in Switzerland are waiting for it. Please Epic Games.
We’ve now got the new M4 Apple Silicon chips out. It’s time for Twinmotion to support ray tracing for real. We need a firm commitment please from Unreal so we can plan our business and project pipeline with clarity. This isn’t some random feature request, but one of the key elements of rendering for everyone. Please advise, thank you!
Also, if everyone can please submit this as a formal feature request in the official roadmap page for Twinmotion, think that would just be a good way to give them a nudge.
It is very strange to say that they are waiting for Apple’s tools for Twinmotion to work with the path tracer and a year has passed since they were released by Apple and they launched the new Twinmotion 2025.1 without working with the path tracer. Any one can explain how it is possible to play games natively on the M4 chip with the epic games with path tracer?
I hope that next Twinmotion version will come with path tracer for Mac chip because for now it doesn’t make any sense these 2025.1 version for Mac without path tracer
It’s amazing how long has epic delayed this feature, even V-Ray has now support for apple gpu rendering and it’s incredibly fast even on an M1 machine, on the M4 max it takes seconds what used to take minutes or hours on an intel Mac, V-Ray doesn’t even has support for AMD gpu’s, it shows how advanced are the gpu’s from apple.
