Can anyone explain … ? In E99 per 3month edition:
All in same folder:
On trying to open early learning-experiments 1.rcproj, 2.rcproj - ‘Path not found’
but 3.rcproj and many variants on that e.g. w3-12mpx-Model4=Start-Preview-Normal-High.rcproj all open fine.
w3-12mpx-Model4=Start-Preview-Normal-High.rcproj - on trying Reconstruction>Colorize or >Texture - ‘Path not found’.
w3-12mpx-Model4=Start-Preview-Normal-High.rcproj - on trying Reconstruction>Export>Mesh>dea or >dxf - ‘Path not found’.
(want to import the model to Autocad-clone Bricscad)
Hi Tom Foster
Have you change paths to images ? as some project can be opened and some not. are you opening it from RC file menu of last projects ?
Yes maybe it’s poss I changed path to images in 1.rcproj, 2.rcproj. Same ‘Path not found’ whether I open from RC file menu of last projects, or start RC by opening from the file in Windows Explorer.
I’m not so worried about that - but what about

I tried to attach that file but “The extension rcproj is not allowed”.
When you load a project and it can’t find the images it will give you that error.
When you try to texture such a project it will also give you that error as it needs the images for texturing.
RC does give you an option to specify a path to the images when you load such a project I believe. Make use of that option and your error should go away.

Thanks - so how has the rcproj lost the path to the images? I changed no file locations/names or anything after clicking in sequence the Start-Preview-Normal-High Detail buttons but immediately after that the Colorize and Texture buttons both gave ‘Path not found’. Also on trying to export, ‘Path not found’.
OK - it looks like a project created by loading a Folder of pics gives ‘Path not found’ when I try to save as .dxf
but if created by loading via Images a collection of individual pics it succesfully saves as .dxf.
So the path to the images is lost when loading by Folder?

I can’t find that option - anyone?

He meant that RealityCapture will prompt you to choose the destination folder when it loses the path.
Sounds like a bug to me.
Tom, did you find a solution?
