Hey,
Can you give us your dxdiag and Launcher log? You can find log at C:\Users\USER.NAME\AppData\Local\UnrealEngineLauncher\Saved\Logs. Thanks!
Good day
I attached logs. And by way, you cannot upload “.log” files. It says that it is invalid, so I saved it as a “.txt” file.

Hey Ninja,
Your issue sounds a lot like an issue described here:
Can you check that post and see if any of listed solutions work for you? If not, please let us know and we will continue investigating.
Best,
Good day Mr.
I did what was suggested on other thread (changed values in DefaultEngine.ini) and ran into same issue again.I attached another screenshot. right after I took screenshot it ran into error again.
I attached most recent logs. Please have a look.
Thanks

Does this happen when you first try to open Launcher? Or does Launcher load and this happens when you try to install 4.2?
When I first try to open launcher it begins updating. then it comes up with error, I “Retried” several times and it ran into same error. I tried going offline, it launches and then tried updating/“going online” from there but I still can’t update to 4.2. It does same thing everytime.
Hi Cool Ninja!
Sorry for delay in response. I’ve looked through your logs, thanks for those. It seems as though server your downloads are coming from seems to be giving 503 response codes, which is a “Service unavailable” response.
Have you had any more luck recently? And if not, it would be great if we could identify server node that is returning this error to you.
When you run Launcher next time, and get download error part way through, could you then open up a command prompt (Win+R, type “cmd” press enter) and run following:-
nslookup download.epicgames.com
And paste a screengrab of result, Thanks!
Another suggestion for further info if you are able, is to also provide logs from a failure with LogHttp setting in ini file on verbose:-
[Core.Log]
LogHttp=Verbose
Hi I’m having this same issue started tonight getting 503 service errors

Hey Goldfinger,
With which version of engine is this occurring for you? If it is not 4.2, could you please open a new post with this same information so we can address it there? Please post here as well when you do so I can follow you over to new link, and I will look into this in meantime. Thank you!
