Part of cape is floating nonetheless cloth simulation is applied

I’m trying cloth simulation but it works weird a little.

End of cape is floating as you can see.

Did you happen to have found the solution? i have the same situation.

Max paint distance.

If you put your cape in that starting position - which you really shouldn’t as it should be heavily weightpainted to move with the character without cloth - Then you need to set the paint values to have the same maximum lenght as the overall lenght of the cape.

Just like a flag, each vertex value needs to be able to move as much as the diatance between the starting point and the vertex itself in all directions.

Again, you should not be doing it this way in the first place, but it can be forced to sometimes work.
