Hi there!
I am setting-up a character blueprint. I have selected my custom Skeletal Mesh for the inherited skeletal mesh component. Now, I want to add another skeletal mesh and use a bone of the inherited skeletal mesh as a parent. I have added the new skeletal mesh component and inserted the skeletal mesh. I cannot manually type into the field “Parent Socket”. Instead, I can only press the “Select” button which opens a pop-up where I can select the bone. So far so good.
The problem is this: The pop-up with all the bones of the skeletal mesh which I want to parent to, is in the upper left corner of my laptop screen in sich a way, that I cannot get to the bone that I want. I cannot move the pop-up window around. It doesn’t matter if I use UE4 in full-screen mode or as a smaller window, the pop-up is always in this upper left hand corner location where I cannot reach the bone that I need to select. How can I fix this?
